What brought me to natural cosmetics? My own skin.

I simply couldn't tolerate traditional cream makeup. Back then, I didn't know that ingredients like mineral oil and glycerin were often behind such reactions. But this experience also had its positive side – it led me to natural cosmetics. And to the desire to develop my own products that were kind to skin, honest, and uncompromisingly natural. This is how my first product was born: a pure, fine mineral makeup – no fragrances, no chemicals, no gimmicks. Only what doesn't harm the skin.

Then came the next turning point: I learned that many high-quality cosmetic brushes are made from animal hair – including squirrel tails. It was immediately clear to me: I didn't want to support that. Since then, all my products have been vegan – from powder to lipstick, from mascara to brushes. Because true beauty doesn't require animal suffering.

Originally, I didn't want to start a cosmetics label at all. My goal was to provide my trained "women of color" with high-quality products that they could recommend with a clear conscience.

Today, with ANGEL MINERALS by Karin Hunkel, I am an integral part of the natural cosmetics scene – and proud of it.

With my mission, I focus on responsibility:

✔ Our certified powders are particularly rich and long-lasting – completely free of artificial preservatives.
✔ We completely avoid palm oil, aluminum, and child labor.
✔ Plastic is gradually being replaced by glass, refill systems, and paper containers.
